
The short film, Never Can Say Goodbye, explores themes of family policing, motherhood, the legal system, poverty and family separation. The film is a story about the strength and self-determination of a mother and her fight to stay together with her children.
Following the short film there will be a conversation with Joyce McMillan, founder and Executive Director of JMACforFamilies and Chris Grant, Producer, Writer, and Director of Never Can Say Goodbye. They will discuss the film and the trauma caused by family separation. After the conversation, there will be a Q&A session.
